About the Artiste
Michael fell in love with martial arts in just the same way he fell in love with women: suddenly, inexplicably, uncritically, giving no thought to the pain or disruption it would bring to his life. What started out as something to explore became a life-long dedication to perfection of the art. His involvement began with the search of a fitness regime that would suit his active lifestyle. When he was offered a job as a part time Kickboxing Fitness Instructor at TNT Kickboxing, Hartamas - it became an endeavour to effectively share his love for the fitness aspect of kickboxing with others. Through that experience he delved into the art of Martial Arts when he trained with top class Malaysian fighters of various backgrounds and there was no turning back. Beyond keeping fit, Martial Arts trains the heart and soul to function on a higher plane. Instead of thinking about what he wants to do with his knowledge of Martial Arts, he seeks to discover what Martial Arts wants to do with him.
